Lauren's Library #12

I just got back from the beach! Lot's of swimming, laying around in the sun, and best of all ... NONSTOP READING!!!

This is going to be a good segment of Lauren's Library. Delicious romance and even a dash of nonfiction at the end!

A Girl Like Her by Talia Hibbert

This small town romance had me swooning at every turn. Geeky, prickly, secretly sweet heroine had a sexy, dinner-cooking, metal-working hero worshipping her the entire book. If you like reading about nasty gossips being given the finger, read this book!

A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole

This was actually a re-read for me. That's how much I loved it the first time around! Get ready for a super intense alpha werewolf who can't seem to get a handle on a shy, yet kick-ass Valkyrie (who is also half-vampire). There's blood and gore and romance!

On Writing by Stephen King

I read this book expecting to get a bunch of writing advice. There was some of that, but really it was more of a memoir (which I now clearly see in the subtitle). I found it fascinating. What I'm trying to say is, this book is for more than just writers. If you've ever wanted to learn about the master of the horror genre, then give this book a chance.

That's it for this segment of Lauren's Library. If you've read any of these books and loved them, let me know! Also, if you have any recommendations for me, I'd love to hear them!

Best,

Lauren
