Another month has gone by, and some wonderful books have come into my life these past few weeks. So let's get into it!
Reaper's Property by Joanna Wylde
This sexy, dirty love story has introduced me to the world of motorcycle club romances, and I am so here for it! Would I want to be labeled as a man's property in real life? Hell no. Did I thoroughly enjoy reading about it? Hell yes. I'm ready to fall down this MC rabbit hole and delve into the darker side of the genre.
The Governess Game by Tessa Dare
Now, this historical romance did a wonderful job satisfying my sweet craving. I'm a sucker for guys that need to be fixed. And a heroine who is not only intelligent, but also finds joy in learning? Total cat nip. Tessa Dare never fails to create stories that make me sigh and laugh out loud.
The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I want to clarify: this is a love story; it is not a romance. This book pulled me in, made me fall in love over and over again. Then, with an agonizing slowness, it tore my heart out. I knew the pain was coming, but I had to keep reading. This book didn't necessarily bring me joy, but it did make me feel deeply. Niffengger manipulated my emotions like a trained puppeteer. Sometimes, that's exactly what I want a book to do.
Hope you find something you like in my library!
Best,
Lauren
