Lauren's Library is going to consist of books I've read and liked. This is not a detailed review source, just a list of recommendations. Agree with me, disagree with me, doesn't matter! I enjoyed each one of these, and I hope you all check out a few of them. Click on the picture of the book to purchase a copy off Amazon, or feel free to browse your local public library or used bookstore to find a copy. No one is asking me to list their books here. (Why would they? At this point no one is reading my blog.) So you can rest assured that when I say I like these books I mean it!
Also I'm going to stick to books I've read recently, because my memory is sub par. However, this does not mean that all the books I talk about will be new releases. They're just new to me.

Beneath The Truth by Meghan March
This is the last in a series of super hot New Orleans based romances. Meghan March writes unapologetic alpha heroes that are addicting, and this story had an awesome genius red-head as the heroine. Gotta love my fellow gingers. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend starting with the first (Beneath This Mask) and just going on a total binge fest like I did. I found this series after I posted in a FB group asking for NOLA romance recommendations before my Mardi Gras trip. There was a deafening shout of "MEGHAN MARCH!" The only disappointing thing about starting this series before traveling to Louisiana was spending my whole trip wondering where in the hell my giant tattooed alpha male lover was. Never found him, but I think I just need to give it another shot...
Wicked and the Wallflower by Sarah Maclean
Despite the lighthearted feel you get from beautiful bright pink dress on the cover, this historical was not afraid to explore the darker sides of the time period. I loved the whole push and pull between light and dark, and the hero who was king of thieves yet couldn't control one seemingly innocent woman. Reminded me of Persephone and Hades, but only if Persephone kept trying to pick the lock on hell's door so she could sneak back into the underworld.
You Do You by Sarah Knight
I listened to this audiobook in my car, which is a good thing because Sarah Knight is hilariously vulgar. The message I took away: stop hiding your weirdness just because other people might judge you. Everyone is weird, and trying to keep a lid on it every minute of every day means you're choosing to be unhappy so you can stick with the status quo. That's the gist, but she does a much better job laying everything out. All I can say is I feel less pressure to say and do what everyone else expects me to say and do. I do me now!
Bonus Book!
Blonde Date by Sarina Bowen
In the future I'll probably stick to just 3 books for each of the Lauren's Library posts, but since this is the first ever I thought I'd thrown in a bonus suggestion! Blonde Date was short and sweet, and I was shocked that I fell in love with two characters so fast. Do you like a beta man who can do tricks with a pink basketball? I had no idea I did until this story came into my life. This is a novella that can be read as a standalone even though it does fit in to a larger series (which is also awesome). Give it a shot!
